The Centre, located in Gdańsk, will function as a hub for innovation and develop state-of-the-art business and technology solutions to help us navigate the future. And we want to do that together with you.For our location in Gdansk we are looking for a BI Developer.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Design, Development, Implementation and Support of innovative BI Applications based on e.g. Qlik View / Qlik Sense (ETL Processes, Data modeling and Visualization / Development of Frontends)
  • Analysis of Business Requirements and Solution Concepts in close collaboration with our business Stakeholders
  • Data Exploration of Data structures and logic
  • Data Visualization based on our Data Warehouse and other sources within our data landscape
  • Participation in international projects
  • Drive digital transformation and innovation projects in our Data Competence Team to increase the overall digitization maturity of our company
  • Construct reliable, large-scale processing systems and state-of-the-art database architectures for seamless and efficient data integration
  • Transform data insights into digital dashboards

Requirements and Qualifications:
General Background:

  • University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related disciplines
  • At least three years of professional experience in the field of data engineering and/or data analysis
  • Continuous self-learning attitude combined with high level of curiosity to explore new ways of working
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English, customer focused, collaborative and result-oriented
  • Passion to give others an advantage of understanding by using straightforward language and to drive the learning of all team members
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and organize work to meet deadlines

Skill Requirements:

  • Data Visualization with Qlik View/Sense
    • Diagrams
    • Detailed Tables
    • Implementation of data models on base of Qlik View / Sense
    • Implementation of frontends on base of Qlik View / Sense
    • HTML, CSS, UX/UI Design
    • Requirements Management
  • Business Intelligence (BI)
    • Data Modeling
    • Star Schema
    • Advanced SQL Expertise
    • Alignment of Data visualization requirements with business
    • Steering of external QlikView / Sense developers

Specific knowledge:

  • Java Script, Microsoft NAV (C/AL [C/SIDE Application Language]), Quality Assurance Processes, DevOps, Agile
  • Highly proficient in using relational databases, SQL and ETL; experience in larger scale data services and cloud-systems is a plus (e.g., Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, AWS, etc.)
