IT Manager

For one of our clients - an international transportation company, we are looking for an IT Manager.

Our client, the world’s largest express transportation company. Leveraging its unmatched air route authorities and extensive air/ground infrastructure, our client connects markets, within just 1 to 2 business days that comprise 90 percent of the world’s economic activity. Our client’s global transportation network provides rapid, reliable, time-definite delivery of documents, packages and freight shipments worldwide.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

· Application Development & Support: leading the development, stability, and security of proprietary e-commerce applications.

· IT Infrastructure Management: managing both cloud-based and physical infrastructure and driving integration of legacy systems into modern cloud environments.

· Cybersecurity & Risk Management: ensuring adherence to cybersecurity protocols and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

· Regulatory Compliance: Overseeing compliance with industry regulations and governance standards.

· Project & Program Management: leading cross-functional IT projects, including: system integrations, hardware migrations and network upgrades.

· Vendor Management: maintaining strategic partnerships and managing vendor relations to support IT objectives.

· Strategic IT Leadership: developing and implementing long-term IT strategies for business growth. Representing IT on senior management boards.

· Budget Optimization: monitoring and optimizing IT budgets for cost efficiency while supporting business revenue objectives.

Qualifications & Competencies (education, skills, experience):

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience

· At least 10 years equivalent work experience in information technology

· Business-oriented approach to technology solutions.

· Strong leadership in team building and talent development.

· Ability to manage diverse IT teams across multiple domains.

· Safe Agile understanding

· Fluent English
